Minidoka, Burley Schools Collected Canned Food

By KMVT News

Burley, Idaho (KMVT-TV) You still have time to help out a local organization, and all you need to do is donate canned foods. Minidoka schools have teamed up with Burley schools to collect a goal of 20,000 cans.

The drive was supposed to end last Friday, but has been extended through this Friday. The schools are asking for your help to donate canned food to the Christmas Council and Helping Hands.

Bev Ramsey, Counselor at Burley Junior High School, says, “The students have been told that. All the students know that 600 families will benefit, and some of our own students will probably benefit, as well.”

You can bring your cans to any of the schools in the Minidoka and Burley school districts.
