Minidoka County School Board Member Submits Resignation

Rupert, Idaho ( KMVT-TV / KSVT-TV ) - At the regular monthly meeting on April 21, 2014, of the Minidoka Board of Trustees, a letter of resignation from Doyle Price, the Trustee from Zone 3, was presented to the board. The remaining trustees voted to express their gratitude to Mr. Price for his excellent service and commented that he has been an asset to the board and that he will be missed; however, they respect his reasons and his decision to resign.
Pursuant to Idaho Code, a declaration of vacancy has been made and the board will be accepting applications for appointment to the Board of Trustees from any interested person(s) until 5 pm on May 12, 2014. Applications may be picked up at the District Service Center or by downloading the document from the district website at Following the application deadline, the board will screen the applicants and narrow it down to a group of finalists to interview for appointment.
