Minidoka Memorial Hospital Bike Safety Day
Rupert, Idaho (KMVT-TV) The Minidoka Memorial Hospital hosted a bike safety day.
Kids from the Mini-Cassia community decorated their bikes and received a free bicycle helmet from the hospital. The annual event promotes safety and gets kids excited to ride in the annual Rupert Fourth of July parade. "We are trying to promote physical activity in our youth with the bicycles, were trying to promote safety with giving away bicycle helmets and just being part of a community" said Joel Rogers Chief Operating Officer, Minidoka Memorial Hospital. The hospital has handed out more than 1,500 helmets to the community. Rogers says they hope to keep children safe while riding bikes out in the street. Comments ( |
