Cassia County ( KMVT-TV / KSVT-TV ) - With the retirement of Dana Dehann as the Cassia County School District Curriculum Director, the School Board formally hired Sandra Miller for the position. Dehaan retired after 20 years of service to the district.

As she steps into this role she says,” I know it’s hard to step into a new position or a district that is already doing great things. But I feel that I can bring some expertise and knowledge to the position and build upon the successes of Cassia School District.”

Sandra has facilitated many grants over the years and has worked at every level of education from the classroom to the board room. She is well studied in Idaho Core standards and the Smarter Balanced Test and feels this is an exciting time to be involved in Education.

Sandra currently lives in Heyburn, Idaho with her husband Jay of 28 years. They have a son and a daughter. Mrs. Miller comments that, “within Education, there is never a dull moment”. She has a passion for education because “it’s a career that embraces change and never stays static. Education is an industry that is constantly looking to improve itself. I find that exciting.” We are excited to work with Mrs. Miller and the experience and skill set she brings with her.
