TWIN FALLS, ID (KMVT-TV) - The Twin Falls City Council had a full agenda on their hands Monday night.

To start off council heard from the Twin Falls Historic Warehouse Dommittee.

They wanted approval for a zoning title amendment would require anyone who is interested in development in the warehouse district to follow new design guidelines.

The council said yes to the request.

Also a public hearing was held to decide whether or not to increase participation fees for the Twin Falls Parks and Rec Department.

The last time Parks and Rec increased fees was back in 2008.

A flat fee increase for both in town and out of town residents was approved.

Starting April 2nd, a single flat fee will be charged for any youth program including basketball, baseball, softball, and soccer.

The fees will increase form $15 to $20 for in town residents.

And non residents will see an increase from $25 to $35.

For those worried about the fee increase... Twin Falls Parks and Rec does offer a special fee waiver form for any family that qualifies.
