Filer Schools: Recipient Of Generous Grant
Filer, Idaho (KMVT-TV) Filer schools came out as one of two winners for the entire state of Idaho to earn a $10,000 grant.
Filer is celebrating Homecoming Week and on Friday morning, representatives from Monsanto presented the check to the school at the pep assembly. The school was selected as a winner in America's Farmers Grow Rural Education. Filer's administration demonstrated what they wanted to do in math and science to improve educational opportunities for students. "We're just happy to be part of this, to present it to Filer Schools, we're part of the community here and we're glad to give back," adds Jim Gomm, a Station Manager with Monsanto Company.
