More Details Released Into Jerome Shooting Incident

Jerome, Idaho ( KMVT-TV / KTWT-TV ) We now know the name of the man who dropped off a shooting victim last week.

Jerome Police arrested 22–year old Daniel Ritter of Gooding.

He was charged with eluding an officer, possession of a controlled substance, possession of a concealed weapon without a permit, possession of drug paraphernalia and driving without privileges.

He allegedly dropped off Gooding resident Daniel Young at a local hospital with a gun shot wound before leaving the area.

Police picked him up at Kwik Service on West Main.

Ritter remains a person of interest in the case.

Meanwhile, Young is still recovering at a Boise Hospital after suffering a gun shot wound to the head. He's in critical condition, according to a hospital spokesman.
