More Road Work Ahead North Of Hailey
Hailey, Idaho (KMVT-TV) Workers for the Idaho Transportation Department have picked up where they left off last year.
Today they began applying micro seal to eleven miles of Highway 75 between Hailey and Ketchum. This section of highway was newly paved just last fall. Nathan Jerke, Spokesman for the Shoshone office of the Idaho Transportation Department, says, "This is a very similar process to what we just completed on Blue Lakes Boulevard North last week. It’s called a micro seal project, which is very similar to a chip seal." Depending on weather conditions, the work should take place between nine a-m and eight p-m. The project should be completed in about two weeks. If you’re driving on that section of road, keep an eye out for lane restrictions, flaggers, and delays in the project zone. July 30, 2012.
