Twin Falls, Idaho ( KMVT-TV / KSVT-TV ) Chobani yogurt is coming to more schools nationwide.

The USDA is expanding its pilot program to provide Chobani Greek yogurt to seven states this upcoming school year.

The program helps make Greek yogurt more affordable for school nutrition professionals to put on their menus.

The CEO of Chobani says, "The expansion to seven more states is a testament to the growing popularity and recognition of Greek yogurt's healthful benefits."

Idaho was one of four states selected to try out the program last year.

New states included in the program include California, Iowa, Illinois, and Mississippi.
