Twin Falls, Idaho (KMVT-TV) “We are out here with a campaign called More Than Just Miles where I’m running from Seattle, Washington all the way to Daytona Beach, Florida all for the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation. Our government doesn't support the foundation, therefore we are out here bringing awareness and trying to raise every single penny we can for to find a cure for this genetic deadly disease,” said Tommy Danger with More Than Just Miles.
Thursday was his 40th day of running and Danger is averaging fifteen to twenty miles a day. Danger said he has ran through rain, snow, hail and thunderstorms but he continues to run each and every day.
Every penny raised goes directly to the cystic fibrosis foundation. Cystic fibrosis is an inherited chronic disease that affects the lungs and digestive systems of more than thirty thousand children and adults in the united states.
