Twin Falls, Idaho ( KMVT-TV / KTWT-TV ) - A national effort is growing in strength with billboards popping up hoping to bring awareness to “Bring Bowe Home.” Hailey resident Bowe Bergdahl is a U.S. Army Sergeant being held hostage by the Taliban. He was captured on June 30, 2009. Five videos have been released demanding money and the release of Al Qaeda prisoners. Now, a national effort is underway with an advertising campaign of “one left behind.” In 2012 two U.S. Marine Veterans founded the Bring Bowe home project with the goal of sharing the story with as many people as possible. That is from a website that has been established called www.bringbowehome.com. The group say they are currently funding billboards and awareness events.
