National Ground Water Week
Twin Falls, Idaho ( KMVT-TV / KTWT-TV ) Ground water, the water beneath the earth's surface, is vital to Idahoans.
The water supplies ninety-five percent of the public with their drinking water. National ground water awareness week is observed by the state this week. The reason, to raise citizen awareness of the importance of clean ground water. The department of environmental quality says, an abundant supply of clean ground water is vital to the health and safety to citizens.
