Twin Falls, Idaho (KMVT-TV) - Neuhoff Communications and FOX Broadcasting Company have signed an agreement to launch a new FOX affiliate in Twin Falls.

The station will be known as FOX 14 and will broadcast in high–definition over KTWT–LP, Channel 14.

Neuhoff Communications is also the local Twin Falls affiliate for CBS, the CW and My Network TV.

Neuhoff plans to reinvent the FOX Network for Southern Idaho with a solid syndicated lineup and the addition of three local HD newscasts per day.

FOX 14 will launch on July 1st.

At that time, Neuhoff Communications will be producing a total of 24 ½ hours of local news per week in the Twin Falls market.

This is up from just 6 hours of local news per week in October of 2010.

"It’s something we have been working on for some time. I'm glad it's come to fruition. We're going to keep working to be ready to go on July 1st and we will be putting in a new transmitter. We will be broadcasting on channel 14 and it will be in HD. We'll be doing newscasts and a great syndicated lineup,” said Chris Pruitt, Vice President of Neuhoff Communications.

FOX 14 will replace Intermountain West Communications Company KXTF Channel 35 whose affiliation agreement with FOX expires on June 30th.
