Filer, Idaho ( KMVT-TV / KTWT-TV ) Kids screaming with excitement. That's one thing you can be sure you'll hear at this fair, and maybe every fair around the country. This year's brand new carnival includes old favorite rides like the Tilt-A-Whirl.

Parent Rachelle Parker says, "It's way too much fun. I love watching them on the rides. They have so much fun on the rides, it brings back great childhood memories of my own. And I just love bringing them here, and letting them enjoy the experience."

Plenty of people are coming just to see the new carnival. The Thomas Carnival Company has plenty of experience in Montana and Utah. So stopping in Idaho seemed like a natural choice.

John Hanschen, President of Thomas Carnival, Inc., says, "We've got monster trucks that's brand new, and the kids are going to love it. We have old rides like the Tilt-A-Whirl, too, everybody loves the Tilt-A-Whirl. The most popular ride here is probably the Century Wheel, our Ferris wheel. Old style rides and new style rides make a big hit at the fair, either one."

The new Moby Dick ride will get you "all shook up." And you can get a taste of hang gliding on this ride. If that's too much, there's always the roller coaster, or that good old standby, the Tilt-A-Whirl.

Cameron Parker says about his experience, "I was spinning super-fast, I went like aaah! Then I was screaming my lungs. I felt like I was going to puke! I'm going to go on it again."

The carnival closes at 11:00 p.m. through Friday night, at 12:00 midnight Saturday and Sunday nights, and at 9:00 p.m. on Monday, Labor Day.
