Twin Falls, Idaho (KMVT-TV) This Thursday, Democrats in Twin Falls met in Old Town for a special ribbon cutting ceremony to officially open up the Democratic headquarters for the newly formed District 24.

Idaho and the city of Twin Falls, over the past 20 years, has been historically a Republican territory on the governmental stage.

But Democrats here in Twin Falls are refusing to take that as a fact.

Rosemary Fornshell, who is currently running as the Democratic candidate for Idaho House seat “B” from District 24 says that Democrats off all ages still need to get out to the polls over the next month to make sure that the election process is not lost just because of how past elections have gone.

“If you don’t have party to party competition you tend to have competition in the party, and I think that’s destructive and we’ve seen some of that. So were hoping to revive that good back and forth between two political parties, which I think creates a much better democracy.” Said Democratic Candidate for Idaho Legislator for District 24, Rosemary Fronshell.

The new Democratic headquarters is located at 113 Shoshone Street North in Old Town Twin Falls.

Their office is open Monday through Friday from 11 to 1 and again from 4-6.

They will also be open on Saturdays from 11 to 1.
