New Housing Project In The Wood River Valley

By KMVT News

Wood River Valley, Idaho ( KMVT-TV / KSVT-TV ) A new project in the Wood River Valley is giving one area a boost in the housing industry.

For about a decade, the mid-valley between Hailey and Ketchum has seen very little new construction.

But now, a new housing project is changing that.

It's the Streamside Subdivision.

Currently there are plans for 30 lots.

Nine are sold, with 21 still remaining.

The area will feature smaller 25-hundred square foot homes with 3 beds and 3 and a half baths.

Right now, two homes are coming to the end of construction, with an estimated price at 1.5 million.

But it's the location that really sets it apart from other areas.

"This is mid-valley... so it's not Ketchum/Sun Valley... it's not Hailey. It's in between, but we have this beautiful expansive view here. So mid-valley living for a lot of people is really a preferred place," explains Jack Bariteau, Streamside Associates LLC.
