New Idaho Texting While Driving Ban
Twin Falls, Idaho (KMVT-TV) The new Idaho texting ban is in full effect.
Sending and receiving text messages on your phone behind the wheel is now illegal. Officers can now pull drivers over statewide for texting while driving. If caught by police, expect to pay an 85-dollar fine. The law became apparent after Idaho crash data revealed 192 people died as a result of distracted driving along with more than 15,000 reported serious injuries. Comments ( |
