New Wading Pool For Jerome

By KMVT News

Jerome, Idaho ( KMVT-TV / KTWT-TV ) Now the Jerome Recreation District has a brand new wading pool for little kids.

The bigger pool in Jerome is three feet deep at the shallow end. The new wading pool is only 18 inches deep. That will help parents and grandparents keep a closer eye on their little ones up to seven years old.

Gary Warr, Executive Director of the Jerome Recreation District, says, “We want people to come out, check it out, and enjoy it. This should be something fun for the smaller kids. We're going to have a ribbon cutting on Thursday May 30th at 5:15 p.m. We'll have our free swim day on Friday the 31st. Then we'll open for business on June 1st for our regular season hours.”

The open swim times at the Jerome Recreation District will be Monday through Saturday from 1:00 to 5:00 p.m. Prices this year are $1.50 for kids 7 and under, $2.00 for ages 8 through 17, and adults are $2.50.
