New Wireless Access Points At Declo High School

By KMVT News

Declo, Idaho ( KMVT-TV / KTWT-TV ) Declo High School is getting ready for new wireless access points.

A year ago, Idaho contracted with a company to install wireless access points in high schools across the state.

This will provide faster and more complete access to the internet.

These access points are placed strategically around schools in the most used places.

This afternoon at Delco High School, surveyors began determining where those access points should be.

That information will go back to engineers who will design the layout.

"The greater purpose of this access point project is to bring internet access to the actual schools themselves, and to be able to do it in a way that we have coverage that allows every classroom to have a level of coverage that the students can access it, the teachers access,” explains Mike Dale, Royalty Electric.

Installation for these access points will take place in the coming weeks.
