Niagara Fish Hatchery Closed Until November

By Joey Martin

Twin Falls, Idaho ( KMVT-TV / KTWT-TV ) Idaho Power has announced that The Niagara Springs Fish Hatchery will remain closed to the public until this coming fall.

Last year the Niagara location began construction of a brand new Fish Hatchery facility.

Once construction is complete, crews will then start a series of repairs and upgrades to the raceways and related equipment.

Work on the hatchery will last into November, and public access will be prohibited until then.

The day–use park located east of the hatchery along with Niagara Springs State Park will remain open.

Motorists are advised to watch for traffic flaggers and stop when entering the area.
