Night Time Road Work On The Perrine Bridge

Twin Falls, Idaho (KMVT-TV) - Starting this Monday, road crews in Twin Falls will spend three nights repaving portions of Blue Lakes Boulevard for some annual maintenance work.

Idaho Sand and Gravel has been contracted out by the City of Twin Falls to remove and replace a layer of asphalt on Blue Lakes Boulevard from the intersection of Bridgeview Boulevard and Fillmore Street and continuing all the way down to the Perrine Bridge.

The project known as "Mill and Pave" will extend the life and improve the quality of one of Idaho’s busiest roadways.

Because of the frequency of traffic on Blue Lakes during the day, the City and Contractor have agreed to conduct all of the work during the night time hours.

On Monday afternoon, crews started their work at around 6 and continued all night until 7 in the morning.

Then again on Tuesday and Wednesday nights, during the same hours.

The project is scheduled to be completed by Wednesday morning.
