Northern Rockies Music Festival Kicks Off

There seems to be something for everyone at the music festival; a little country, a little folk, some cajun, horns and rhythms sections, and great guitar. Food and art vendors border the festival and there is even an area to camp across the street. Paul Thorton from Mississippi is the headlining act on Saturday. He's known for his fun and unique performances.

There's a big playground for kids. It has a very small town feel but it's got wonderful, national musical acts on this big stage behind me," said Dana Dugan, Vice President of the Northern Rockies Music Festival Board.
The event is put on by a group of people, not a corporation, and has a real local feel. Tickets to the event are available at Shelley’s Deli in Hailey, Nourish Me in Ketchum, and at the gate. To learn more about the event, visit their website, http://www.northernrockiesmusicfestival.org.
