One Person Dead Following Two Vehicle Pileup Near Jerome

Jerome, Idaho ( KMVT-TV / KTWT-TV ) - The Idaho State Police is confirming that one person has been killed in a two vehicle accident near Jerome. Idaho State Police, the Jerome Rural Fire Department and air St. Luke’s were sent to 350 West Road in Jerome about 1:44 pm this afternoon.
Police at the scene say Chasity Pearson, 27 of Wendell was driving a suburban when she pulled into the path of a pickup pulling a large flatbed hauling equipment driven by John Cutler, 39 of Wendell. Chasity was pronounced dead at the scene while two passengers in her car a 2 year old boy and a 4 year old girl were both injured. Police say the girl was airlifted to Boise while the boy was taken by ground ambulance to the Jerome hospital for treatment.
