Elderly Man Injured While Crossing Main Road In Hagerman
Hagerman, Idaho (KMVT-TV) An 86 year old man was seriously injured after he was struck by a car in Hagerman about 4:15pm Monday. Gooding county Sheriff Shaun Goff said Kenneth Pearce was crossing the road in the 100 block of State Street when he was struck by a car driven by 40 year old Joseph Marsh who was traveling north. According to police reports, Marsh claimed he did not see the pedestrian. Pearce was not in a marked crosswalk. He was lifeflighted for medical treatment with head injuries. Alcohol is not believed to be a factor in the accident. Sheriff Goff said that once his department’s investigation is complete, he will be turning it over to the prosecutor’s office.
