Open House Signs On Right Of Way Ok'd By Twin Falls City Council

Twin Falls, Idaho ( KMVT-TV / KSVT-TV )On Monday, the Twin Falls City Council made a decision regarding real estate signs on public right of way.

In the past, real estate agents wishing his hold an open house and wanting to place open house signs around town must first get permission from private property owners to place the signs on their property.

Placing signs on city streets and sidewalks was strictly prohibited.

On Monday, the Council made a decision that will now allow realtors the right to utilizes public right of ways to place open house signage.

The decision was made with a few stipulations.

Signs can only be placed during sunlight hours.

And no electronic or reflective singes are allowed.
