Operation Christmas Child Underway In The Magic Valley

Twin Falls, Idaho (KMVT-TV) Operation Christmas Child is underway in the Magic Valley.

Twin Falls locals are working to brighten the lives of millions of needy children around the world.

Volunteers are preparing for the collection of more than 16-hundred gift-filled shoe boxes.

"It's a program that we give to children all over the world, just to let them know we love them and we care about them. It's what the season is all about” said Sharon Welch Area Coordinator, Samaritan’s Purse.

The Samaritan’s Purse organization is accepting gift-filled shoe boxes until November 16, 2012.
