Twin Falls, Idaho ( KMVT-TV / KSVT-TV ) The Fourth Annual Operation Facelift kicks off Monday and will run through June 20th.

It is a regional community-wide downtown revitalization project to improve downtown areas.

Seven southern Idaho communities are participating, including Twin Falls, Jerome, Filer, Rupert, Heyburn, Burley, and Kimberly.

Over 19 improvement projects are scheduled.

Economic Development Director Melinda Anderson explains what the project will bring to Twin Falls…

“The YMCA on Elizabeth Street paint their E's and their trim and also touch up some of their landscaping in the front, so it will just pretty up what the Y is doing on their interior, as well."

Hundreds of volunteers are expected to take part in the facelift projects.

Since its inception, Operation Facelift has helped create over 100 improvement projects throughout southern Idaho.
