Owner Speaks About Robbery At Heyburn Gas Station
Heyburn, Idaho (KMVT-TV) Heyburn Police are still looking for a suspect in an armed robbery last week.
The robbery allegedly happened at Tony's Gas Station on Tuesday night. Heyburn police say a young man entered the store before nine, pointed a black pistol at the clerk, also known as the owner's grandson and demanded money. We spoke to the owner of Tony's Sunday evening. As she explains, theft became a common theme that week. Carolyn Gallegos says, "then the next night, a young man proceeded to come in and steal gum and candy. And my grandson caught him. I just happened to be in the area and I ran out and caught him and I walked him all the way home. And yesterday i made him work for three hours."
