Pal Day Impacts Local Family
Filer, Idaho (KMVT-TV) For those who love carnival rides...the fair is the place to be today.
KMVT is sponsoring its annual pal day. KMVT's pal day is best described as a carnival lover’s delight. "We always schedule to go ride the rides on Pal Day. You can get more people to ride rides than on a regular day at the fair,” said Monica. The annual promotion allows two pals to ride all day for the price of one. That's fifteen dollars per person for unlimited rides. "We have all the kids ride all the rides that they can stand to ride,” said Monica. Monica brought three kids with her and each had a Pal Pass. The kids had their buddy and were ready to ride their favorites. "The roller coaster and the Ferris wheel," said Andre, Pal Day rider. "The roller coaster," said Beckton, Pal Day rider. "The tornado," said Cameron, Pal Day rider. A fun day for most, but beware if your pals are younger than you. "Just having to ride the rides that they can ride, like the little ones," said Ivy, Pal Day rider. As Monica explains, it provides a perfect environment for those with young children. "With little one if we need to leave you know we can get back in the fair. It's affordable enough that if someone is having a bad day, you need to take him home to grandma and grandpa you can and come back," said Monica. For her, it's the perfect way to end the summer vacation. "Oh I just love the fair. It's fun, it's fun to look forward to at the end of the summer and get ready for the new school year. It's just a good time," said Monica. There are nearly thirty rides and games to choose from, plus, enough food and fun for the entire family. It’s no wonder pal day is the longest running and most popular promotion at the twin falls county fair. Comments ( Most Viewed |
