Paul City Council Discussing Possible Water Rate Increase

Tools

By Andrew Reed

Paul, Idaho ( KMVT-TV / KSVT-TV ) Paul residents could soon see a water rate increase.

The city council recently reviewed its audit, which is leading to the question, whether or not to increase the water fee.

Current water rates are $34 a month.

The council meets next Wednesday to discuss different rates.

"The council likes to review things and if they have to do an increase it could be a small one. Therefore, they won't have to hit people with large increases. They review this every year after the audit,” said Richard Rau, City of Paul.

The city increased its water rates in 2012 by $5.
