Rupert, Idaho ( KMVT-TV / KSVT-TV ) A Paul teenager is dead following an early morning crash near Rupert.
Idaho State Police say Dakota B. Twiss, 18, was headed northbound on 100 East when she missed the curve and struck the railroad tracks. Her car rolled, landing upright on the tracks.
Twiss and her passenger, Mylee Pratt, also 18 and from Paul, were taken by a private vehicle to Minidoka Memorial Hospital. Twiss died at the hospital.
Neither of the teens were wearing seatbelts, said ISP.
Both 100 N and 100 E were blocked from 12:40 a.m. until 8:11 a.m.
This crash is still under investigation.
