Pink Party At Hands On

Tools

By Joey Martin

Twin Falls, Idaho (KMVT-TV) In honor of October being breast cancer awareness month, Hands On in downtown Twin Falls held a special ladies night out by hosting the second annual Pink Party.

Women and girls of all ages were invited to put on their favorite pink outfits and join their friends at hands on for a fun night of creating for a cure.

All of those who attend enjoyed a night of pink food and drinks and even had the chance to get their nails painted pink by the girls from the spruce goose salon.

A silent auction was also held with items donated by many local artisans.

The funds raised from the party will go to benefit the Dianne K. Bolt Breast Cancer Screening Memorial Fund.

That money will then go to help provide mammograms for local uninsured or low income women in the Magic Valley.

“You know really proud that I can do it, and you know there has been a lot of comradery here, and so it’s been really great. We love to give back to the community.” Said the Owner of Hands On Robin Dober.

If you weren't able to attend the Pink Party, and you would still like to donate to the Dianne K. Bolt Memorial Fund you can stop by Hand On in downtown Twin Falls and make a donation.
