Twin Falls, Idaho ( KMVT-TV / KSVT-TV ) Subways and local police departments are rewarding kids for playing safe this summer.
Subway issued thousands of loyalty cards to police officers to hand out to kids who are playing safe.
The cards have points kids can use to buy sandwiches.
It's all part of Subway's "Play Safe" Campaign.
Examples of playing safe include wearing helmets and other safety gear while on bikes or skateboards or properly using crosswalks at intersections.
"Encourage kids to get out and enjoy the summer time and to do it in a safe way," explains Captain Anthony Barnhart, TFPD.
The campaign will last until the end of summer.
