Twin Falls, Idaho ( KMVT-TV / KSVT-TV ) The Twin Falls pocket park on 4th Avenue South is ready ahead of schedule.
The Urban Renewal Agency expected the park to be completed by mid-June. But it is already 95 percent done.
Located in the warehouse district of downtown Twin Falls, the park is one of many renovations planned by the agency...
Melinda Anderson, Executive Director of the city's Urban Renewal Agency, says the agency is committed to downtown and old town revitalization...
"We're going to see eventually retail, maybe some restaurants down here, hopefully maybe see some housing down here some day. So it's really renovating an old industrial section where Twin Falls got its start over 100 years ago and continuing to pour our heart and soul into this beautiful area and make it vibrant again."
The Urban Renewal board's monthly meeting will be held at noon on Monday, April 14th at the City Council chambers...
They will be discussing the pocket park, as well as other renovation plans. The public is welcome.
