Police Arrest Two Following Robbery Of Amber Inn Near Eden

Eden, Idaho ( KMVT-TV / KTWT-TV ) - Two people were arrested following an armed robbery that occurred at the Amber Inn near Eden last night. That according to the Idaho State Police who say they were informed by SIRCOMM of the incident at 8:15 pm Monday night. The Amber Inn is located near the Garden of Eden-Travelers Oasis truck stop off exit 182 on Interstate 84. Local authorities were given a description of the suspect and the vehicle that may have been involved.

At 8:30 pm, the ISP conducted a traffic stop eastbound on I-84 at milepost 205 west of Burley. Shortly after initiating the traffic stop, a citizen called to report seeing the passenger of the vehicle throw something out of the window. The Cassia County Sheriff conducted a search of the area and recovered a rifle which matched the one used in the earlier armed robbery.

Police arrested Daniel Quilimaco, 33 of Rupert. He was booked into the Jerome County Jail for armed robbery, aggravated assault, assault with the intent to commit a serious felony and destruction of evidence. Police also arrested Jacob Rodriguez, 18 of Heyburn. He was booked into the Jerome County Jail for destruction of evidence and criminal conspiracy.
