Power off for Some Lincoln County Residents, Burma Road Closed Due To Lines Across Road

UPDATE INFORMATION 4:08 PM - Idaho Power crews are expecting power to be restored by about 7pm tonight. Currently they are waiting for materials to repair a broken arm on a transmission line. The cause of the outage is being blamed on the weather.

Shoshone, Idaho ( KMVT-TV / KTWT-TV ) - The storm that passed through the area this afternoon has caused some Idaho Power customers to be without service. Idaho Power officials say that 429 customers in Dietrich and near Shoshone lost power when two feeder lines went down. The power lines fell across Burma Road in Lincoln County. The Burma road at the Highway 75 junction is closed while Idaho Power crews remove the lines from the roadway.
