Twin Falls, Idaho (KMVT-TV) Regan and Adam Newberry own a trucking company here in twin falls. After seeing the devastation in New York's Staten Island, they knew they had to help.

"We just feel compelled. Our hearts way really heavy on the folks over in Staten Island that haven't received hardly any help. It's just strictly volunteers from their community that are trying to put stuff together to get supplies to their own people," said Regan Newberry of R&A Trucking.

The couple is planning on loading one of their company's trailers full of relief supplies to take to Staten Island. A project they've named Staten Island relief Southern Idaho. There are several ways you can help.

"They can donate anytime from now until Saturday. They can drop off at our office at 2926 Elizabeth BLVD here in Twin. Saturday and Sunday next weekend from 8 –5 we are going to have our truck and trailer staged behind Jimmy Johns in the back lot behind Albertsons and they can come drop off at the trailer and donate there," said Regan Newberry.

The Newberys have been in contact with a woman in Staten Island to coordinate relief efforts. Once the trailer is full, one of the company's drivers will truck the relief supplies to New York City.

"One thing I've been in touch with my lady in Staten Island. They really need baby items, formula, diapers, clothing for little ones. Teddy bears are a great thing to give little kids. Gives them something to hold on to," said Regan Newberry.
