Red Flag Weather Warning Issued For Jerome, Twin Falls And Gooding Counties
Southern Idaho (KMVT-TV) – Area fire departments are being told to gear up for another round of dry thunderstorms to roll through the area. KMVT Meteorologist Nick Kosir said that the storms will affect most of the viewing area but will be concentrated in Twin Falls, Jerome and Gooding counties. 50 mph erratic wind gusts with the dry thunderstorms and plenty of lightning are expected. Little to no moisture is expected with these storms. While the storm warning will expire at midnight tonight, the weather pattern is expected to be similar through Friday evening.
