Republican Women Consider American Immigration Policies

By Jay Michaels

Buhl, Idaho ( KMVT-TV / KTWT-TV ) The Magic Valley Republican Women held their monthly luncheon meeting at Clear Lake Country Club north of Buhl.

Pastor Isaac Tellez discussed issues related to America's immigration policies. Given the large number of immigrant workers in southern Idaho, it's not surprising Magic Valley residents are interested in immigration.

Billee Dinges with the Magic Valley Republican Women says, "We have concerns with the H2A Worker program, we have concerns about water issues. We have concerns that are different from the metropolitan club in Twin Falls."

This group of Republican women represent issues that concern residents who live outside the cities and towns here in Magic Valley.
