Getting Ready For The Hunt In Wendell
Wendell, Idaho ( KMVT-TV / KTWT-TV ) With Easter coming up this Sunday residents in the Magic Valley are gearing up for the festive holiday.
Residents over at the Magic Valley Manor Assisted Living Facility in Wendell were busy painting over 3,000 Easter Eggs.
For the past 15 years the city of Wendell has asked the Manor to put on the annual community Easter Egg Hunt.
A task that the assisted living facility is more than happy to take on.
“It’s a good community event. The community is very supportive of us. We have residents coloring eggs, we have volunteers coloring eggs, and families coloring eggs… it’s a good event for everybody. It will take us about an hour to color eggs but it takes the kids about 5 seconds to wipeout the front yard.”
Said Kathy Adams, Administrator for the Magic Valley Manor.
The Wendell Egg Hunt will take place at Magic Valley Manor itself.
The building is located at 210 Idaho Street North, across from the new Elementary School.
Three different age groups will take turns rounding up the eggs.
Participants are being asked to show up around 10:30 with the hunt taking place at 11.
