Results From Mini-Cassia Drug Task Force

Rupert, Idaho ( KMVT-TV / KSVT-TV ) - The Mini-Cassia Drug Task Force conducted a multi-jurisdiction drug and criminal interdiction patrol on Thursday.

Participating agencies were from the Cassia County Sheriff’s Office, the Minidoka County Sheriff’s Office, the Rupert Police Department, the Heyburn Police Department, and the Adult Felony Probation and Parole Office.

The five agencies had a total of 20 officers that provided approximately 100 man hours of time during the patrol.

In both counties there were: 40 citizen contacts, 29 traffic stops, 5 citations, 4 arrests, 4 vehicle searches, 2 house searches, 5 K-9 searches, 2 counts for methamphetamine, 2 counts for marijuana, 1 DUI, and 2 warrants served.
