Twin Falls, Idaho (KMVT-TV) Lithia Motors of Twin Falls continues their giving program.

This time around the store honored Rising Stars Therapeutic Riding Center.

The car dealer presented a check of more than 97–hundred dollars to rising stars.

The non–profit organization helps adults and children coping with down's syndrome, autism, cerebral palsy and other disabilities.

The center's director tells us they operate mainly off of grants and donations and they only charge riders a small fee.


"We don't charge riders enough to even begin to cover our expenses, insurance, facilities, instructors so this check will go a long way to cover our expenses that we deal with every year," says Marni Porath, Director of Rising Stars.

"This is one of the nicest causes, that everyone in the dealership got behind, feels great about, going to have a huge impact and we all feel proud to do it," adds Corey Kracke

This is the fourth beneficiary the store has supported since June 2011. The others include Mustard Tree Foundation, Valley House Homeless Shelter and the American Cancer Society.
