River Adventure Toys Holds Demo Day

Twin Falls, Idaho ( KMVT-TV / KTWT-TV ) Trent Pinther grew up being involved in paddle sports. Today he got to share his love for kayaks and canoes with people from across the magic valley at demo day.

"Paddle sports is something I grew up in, something I love to do. I believe it's a fun event, fun activity for the family. You can go out as family or individual whether it's a leisure stroll, fishing, extreme whitewater, kayaks are a versatile thing," said Trent Pinther with Idaho Water Sports.

Pinther works for Idaho Water Sports. This is their first year participating in rat's demo day at Dierke's lake.

"We always like to participate in demo days. Get a chance to get people in the boats. So we take every chance we can to try to be involved and let people get in," said Trent Pinther.

River adventure toys started demo day fifteen years ago.

"People like to test drive something before they buy it. So this was a way that people could test drive canoes, kayaks and boats and see what they like," said Dennis Pettygrove with River Adventure Toys.

If you missed out on demo day, there's still a chance to try out a canoe or kayak before you decide to buy one.

"We rent canoes and kayaks right here from the beach on Dierkes and that's by the hour," said Dennis Pettygrove with River Adventure Toys.

There are plenty of spots across Southern Idaho and the Magic Valley to spend a day canoeing or kayaking.

"Southern Idaho has numerous places they can go to paddle. There's like at least eight different stretches of water within an hour of Twin Falls that they can paddle it," said Dennis Pettygrove with River Adventure Toys.

Yet another way to enjoy the outdoors in the Magic Valley.
