Twin Falls, Idaho (KMVT-TV) Starting next week in Twin Falls, kids as well as their parents are invited to sign up and take part in an exciting 3–day robotics workshop planned to be held at the College of Southern Idaho's Herrett Center.

The 3–day workshop, which is a pre–registration course, will be held Tuesday, August 14 through Thursday, August 16th.

In the workshop, those who choose to take part will be introduced to the world of robotics using the "First Program".

"First" utilizes the use of Legos to show students the ins and outs of basic engineering along with emphasizing professionalism in the workspace.

"It's a wonderful program, it's fun. They learn many things about robotics but it stimulates their interest in science, technology, engineering, math and it's a wonderful program." Said Herrett Center Education Coordinator, Darcy Thornborrow.

All kids, ages 8 and up are invited to come register for the workshop, no matter their skill level.

The three day workshop is a flat 75 dollar fee.

Or if you would only like to take part in a single day it will cost you 30 bucks.

You can pick up a registration form at the Herrett Center or you can contact the center at 732–6664.
