Jerome, Idaho ( KMVT-TV / KTWT-TV ) Girls hoping to earn a crown gathered Saturday at the Jerome County Fairgrounds for the South Central Idaho Rodeo Royalty clinic.

The girls learned the necessary steps to become part of a small group of representatives for their sport. Receiving a title then requires the ladies to become a true ambassador for rodeo.

"There's a lot of things have gone on with rodeos as far as negativity and Rodeo Royalty, we are ambassadors so that we are trying to bring a positive look on the sport so the public can know that we love what we do and we love animals," says Hali Stutzman, Miss War Bonnet 2012.

For young women who are interested in pursuing a rodeo title of their own.
