SIEDO Receives Large Check To Promote Organization

Twin Falls, Idaho ( KMVT-TV / KTWT-TV ) The Southern Idaho Economic Development Organization is reaching out to cities across the country.

On Thursday, S.I.E.D.O. received a large donation from Business Plus that will help promote its success.

Business leaders from across the Magic Valley are celebrating with as Southern Idaho becomes America’s most diverse food basket.

Now the organization is sharing it's story across the nation.

"Almost 800-million in capital, over 7 companies, over 5,000 direct and indirect jobs all in the food industry all in ten months. We had one big year and we think it's a great story,” said Jan Rodgers, Executive Director S.I.E.D.O.

Business plus in the magic valley leverages business growth throughout the region by focusing on job creation.

They donated $30,000 to S.I.E.D.O.

"We are going to provide addition funds to help grow our community and make it even larger. Jan and her group have gone out to contribute all these jobs this year. We are lucky enough to come in and give her addition support,” said Jim Lynch, Business Plus.

With the additional funding S.I.E.D.O. hired, a PR firm to help promote the organization and they now have a full-time marketing employee to assist.

"We have several projects in the pipeline and it's just February,” said Rodger.

Projects local communities hope will become a reality.
