STEM Day For Local Girls
Twin Falls, Idaho (KMVT-TV) The Girl Scouts of Silver Sage hosted a day of fun and learning for girls in our community.
They called the day "STEM day." It was a way to teach fourth grade girls from multiple schools about science and math. The girls learned about energy using light bulbs, recycling and safe, smart ways to use make-up. They also received goodies from the projects when the day was complete. Not all participants in STEM day were girl scouts...but there hope is to have the girls join in the future. Comments ( |
