Safe Kids Magic Valley Holds Summer Sidewalk Sale
Twin Falls, Idaho (KMVT-TV) -Thursday afternoon in Twin Falls, Safe Kids Magic Valley held a special Summer Sidewalk sale to help raise awareness for child safety.
From 4 to 7, employees from Safe Kids Magic Valley were out at their office located behind the Department of Health and Welfare building on Poleline Road talking to local parents about the dos and don'ts of proper child safety. Safe kids decided to put on this special sidewalk sale to help local parents who might not have all of the information available to them about proper child safety. And in doing so gave parents and children an opportunity to purchase the equipment need to keep them safe. Those who showed up were able to browse through a large collection of safely equipment ranging from bicycle and ATV helmets to car seats and booster seats. And it wasn't just about making sure the kids had the right gear to wear. Even the manager from Safe Kids Magic Valley, Page Geske had a few tips for parents looking to keep their children safe. “Make sure your kid is in the right car seat. The appropriate age, the appropriate weight, the appropriate heights. You can’t wear a bike helmet for ATV, you can’t wear a bike helmet for skiing. You got to have the appropriate helmet for the appropriate sport.” If you missed Thursdays sidewalk sale don’t worry. Safe Kids Magic Valley offers everything you need when it comes to keeping your child safe during the summer months. Their office is located at 801 Poleline Road West in Twin Falls, directly behind the Department of Health and Welfare building.
