Twin Falls (ID) (KMVT, KTWT-TV) Safe Kids MagiC Valley Page Geske sits down with Diane Dean to talk about teen driving safety especially during winter months. The most fatal crashes happen on Friday and Saturday nignts. Some reasons teens driving too fast in bad weather conditions, distractions from other riders, the phone, following too close and not enough experience. Some suggestions are wear your seatbelt, slow down, make sure windows are clear of ice and frost, increase your distance between vehicles, have extra warm clothes in the car and have a survival kit packed. Make sure your car is winter ready and practice with an adult in snow to see how your car reacts to turns, stops, and how to pump the brakes to slow down.
