Twin Falls, Idaho ( KMVT-TV / KTWT-TV ) 2013 was the second safest year on record when it comes to commercial flying.

A new report from the Aviation Safety Network reveals there 29 accidents where at least one person died. A total of 265 people died in all of those accidents.

Bill Carberry, manager of Magic Valley Regional Airport, points out there are occasionally some minor accidents at Joslin Field, but most of them don't involve major injuries. The airport has an emergency plan with the fire department and public safety personnel.

In fact, that's why the airport hosts drills with mock disasters, to make sure they're ready for any possible accidents.
